maybe you shouldn't be having a dog then or train it not to tear up your shit in the first place.
I hate seeing people treat animals like objects and I think it says a lot about people who think you can do so.

I'm replying. I remember when I first got my dog. She was housebroken but when I put her in a room with the door closed to go out for an hour or so she had chewed a hole in the wall and torn up the carpet by the door. I put her outside but she looked so pitiful that I immediately caved and let her back in.
