I went ahead and Googled it and this happened at a Moscow bar a couple of years ago. She ended up getting burned really bad and the bar paid her 20 million rubles in damages which is like 34,000 dollars.

Depending on whether or not that bar was part of a large chain she probably wound up with a nice chunk of money.

Recent very similar accident in Texas. The pole was knocked down by a driver who lost control of his vehicle. The pole hit a woman standing like this guy was and it killed her.
