And there's no need for it to--once you bleed that much speed, you're a sitting duck.
It's a neat parlor trick, but absolutely useless in any combat situation.

Shit like that would be awesomely useful if A2A missiles didn't have proximity fuses. As it stands, the only thing that jet would have won is airshows.
