Nah, that's an old trick, it really is just hot water, but the spoon is made out of gallium. And the melting point of gallium, is close to room temperature. (29.7 °C, 85.5 °F)

Except, that there is no redirection going on here. There is lightning on the underside of the storm clouds in the background and other lightning that hits the top of the Burj Khalifa probably miles away from each other.
