When I was a kid 20+ years ago Africa was the shithole that all the 1st world countries poured money in. All the amazing technological advancements that would make their lives easier, all the food, money, shelter, etc.
And here we are decades later and Africa is still the same shithole it has always been, except now with rampant aids.

That's not karma. That's just him losing balance because his focus was elsewhere. It's like looking sideways while on a treadmill, you will easily lose your pace.
