Gravity is the force that pulls all mass towards itself.

Inertia is the property of mass that prevents it from losing energy unless acted upon by outside forces.

This is an example of gravity and inertia working in concert. Gravity gave her inertia by pulling her to the earth, which neither the mechanical bull nor the air in front of her could stop. She tipped, lost her fatass balance, and gravity took over. Inertia was in play as long as gravity had been maintaining its force on her (i.e. since the beginning of time).
