Or how to draw a bolt back so that you don't flick the trigger as well? Posted by wow (guest) on Thu Apr 7 09:37:36 2011 Goddamn team killers. Always when you least expect them... I love how after the initial flinch, nobody moved. Like it happens every day. Posted by Guest on Sat Apr 9 14:51:42 2011
man, that blank almost took his head off Posted by Guest on Sat Apr 9 17:37:13 2011 Accidental Dischargeo that idiot who typed something about pulling the bolt with bad trigger discipline. First off from their stance, their pulling back on the charging handles and holding the foregrips, so theres no way he could have had his finger on the trigger. Second of all what most likely happened is the weapons were BFA's and he'd already had a chambered round and when he pulled back on the charging handle it discharged the round instead of ejecting, as pointed out slam-fire. The other trooper is lucky to still be alive and have his head. Posted by Doc345 (guest) on Sat Apr 9 20:16:56 2011 blank ammoFirst - it was bad trigger discipline. Trooper from second line pulled trigger immediately after "chamber" command. Second - as for any honour salvo - the ammo was blank. The trooper with his hat blown off was given a citation for not breaking the formation. Posted by mua (guest) on Sun Apr 10 21:54:05 2011 4GifsThe place to go for ballistiics experts. Posted by Dr. Science (guest) on Mon Apr 11 19:58:27 2011 To those who think blanks can kill youIt would kind of be like throwing a nail at someone really hard. It will break the skin, but will not kill you. It CAN blind you if you're shot in the eye though. Posted by CKW (guest) on Sun May 1 20:01:40 2011 Yes, blanks can kill but they have to really close to the person and it has to be a vital area such as neck or head. a blank aimed at the head from just an inch or two away will seriously injure or even kill a person. This guy was well out of that range but still got some fun from the powder that still escapes. Posted by Guest on Sun May 1 21:26:16 2011 To those who think blanks can kill youYou know Brandon Lee (Bruce Lee's son) died because of a blank round. Of course, there was a a squib load (a bullet left in the barrel, the bullet was there from a misfire on a previous scene in The Crow), but the blank had enough force to fire the squib load out and kill him. First of all, it's still a very, very rare situation that a blank can kill. Yes, that is a case, but it is very rare. For example, you're quoting one from the year I was born. Posted by CKW (guest) on Mon May 2 20:51:43 2011 blanksThat actor from the 80's show "Yellow Rose of Texas" (or something like that) was playing Russian roulette with blanks and blew his brains out by accident.
