Guess the dude just freaked out... Looked like he had time to respond to the truck without sliding. Then again maybe the camera lens throws it off.

I'm guessing this guy was a new rider or something, he had plenty of time to turn if he wanted to, and you can stop WAY faster with your brakes than you can by sliding. He reacted pretty stupidly.

Well even though everyone is bashing on him he did one thing right very respectably.
They were geared up properly and probably fine because of that!
