Looks like a training film to me, timestamp jumps and camera moves between the guy climbing and the getting "sucked in".

No...he survived...surprisingly. I think the fan blades actually saved him from being sucked all the way in!

I read an article about this. His helmet actually caused the fan blades to jam, thus saving his life.
