She almost deserved it because she was blocking her face with her hands spread apart...? Although this looks weird because there is no sudden jolt to the head.

When you're so fat you look like a mix of Doc Brown and Jabba the Hut you're not going to have the best reaction time and your neck fat will stop your head from moving, causing additional head trauma.
