While I don't think this guy's use of force was necessary, she did kick him first which constitutes assault. I don't think he intended to knock her out (as the .gif insinuates), but unless there's more information about this, he was probably disciplined appropriately given the circumstances.

While the ditch pig clearly deserved it, if a male "civilian" kicked a handcuffed woman sitting on the ground in the face he would get jail time no question. This pig will claim an injury on his leg (although there will be no supporting evidence), claim self defence, claim other off-camera "aggressive behaviour", charge her with assault (common counter-suit when excessive force is used by pigs) and at BEST, AT FUCKING BEST, he will get 2 weeks off with pay (aka paid vacation) and a "note" in his file. Then right back on the street to "serve and protect".

The cops use of force can be technically justified, but that doesn't make it morally right. However, admit it, we've all wanted to kick a bitch for some reason, and I'm pretty sure he felt lighter after kicking her.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a violent man, but some people deserve to get kicked especially people who think they can get away with anything, I bet you this chick will never talk shit again a day in her life.

If you're in this kind of situation and you actually do what you're ordered, then guess what, you won't get kicked/punched/shot/whatever amazing huh?
Sure there are cops that are pigs, and who would assault you for no reason anyway, then you take the guy to court and prove that you DIDN'T provoke him to attack, and so you are declared teh winrar...

Funniest thing is during an arrest force can be used with in reason. But the second they're actually in a prison the officer or guard will get assualt charges on them for restraining a violent inmate. Do i think he was justified no because frankly she probably did no dmage what so ever but legally he is with in his right to defend himself from an attacking suspect.

Funny thing

If the genders were reversed and it was a female cop kicking a drunk man in the head, I highly doubt there'd be even a tenth as many complaints.

Regardless, maybe she was knocked out from the kick, maybe she wasn't. I don't care. She assaulted a police officer in the line of his duty, he responded. Given that he only hit her once, I'd say it's an acceptable response. And before anyone asks, yes, if you hit someone you should absolutely expect to get hit back.

Well deserved

The only complaint I have about this image is that the cop kicked her in the head, and not in the leg (eye for an eye, leg for a leg). Other than that, she had it coming. Let's start with the fact that she can't expect to hit someone and not be hit back (regardless of gender), but she attacked a police officer, at that. He was WELL within his right to hit her back!

It always annoyed me that parents always taught their kids "men should never hit women", but you never hear anything about how women should never hit men, men should never hit men, women should never hit women, and that it's okay to hit someone if it's in self-defense.
