Apparently, being a cyclist is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" mode of transportation.

Ride on road, following all traffic laws: "Get off the road, you jackass!"
Ride on sidewalk, as courteously, conscientiously, and legally as possible: "Get off the sidewalk, asshole!"

How can riding on the sidewalk be illegal in some places while in others riding on the road is illegal? Make up your fucking minds.
