Yeah, well I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the 10 lb crt didnt utilize static electricity to reflect the baseball bat. I'm thinking the guy just missed the glass and hit something that doesnt shatter.

I mean if you're determined to call him an idiot, be my guest. I'm sure as shit not impressed by it. I'm not impressed by amateur physicists either.

Glass is far more resilient than you give it credit for.

This isn't a fucking teacup, girls, it's a goddamn half inch thick CRT screen.

He's not saying the static deflected the bat. Even when switched off, the capacitors in a CRT carry enough juice to kill. These guys could yet earn their Darwin awards.
