Also their were covered in metal so kamikazee bombers did absolutely no damage, they just bounced off.
Just what exactly do you think that one is made of?
Plastic?!
In the 1941 era, it was the battleships that had wooden deckings that were made of oak.
Kamikaze planes were overloaded with fuel, which ignited and ran below decks.
