What was the point of the trick? And why was the guy on all fours like he dropped the soap?

I guess the point of the trick was precisely what we see here. They must've somehow convinced the headshotee to get on all fours. Maybe they promised him that he'd get kicked in the jaw or something. But instead ... hatshot!
