They should be stopping the kid, but we appear to be dealing with the type of parent who would rather film even the most trivial things that their child does instead of educating their kid on what is potentially harmful; I would not be too surprised if the parent had tried to set the kid up there in the hopes that he would get all perplexed like little dogs do with mirrors and make some lame 'comedy' happen.
