View CommentsAre there any creatures... blah, blah, blahShows what you know about the animal kingdom and especially cats. The members of the feline family actually CAN track footprints and they hunt primarily by sight and sound. Their attention is drawn by motion and noise. Cats can even be perceived to hear supposedly silent motion. For example: Waving your hand near a sleeping cat will awaken it and the slightest movement made by anything within their range of sight will get their attention and draw their curiosity. Are there any creatures other than humans that can understand what footprints are? Don't all predator and prey animals hunt/flee by scent and direct line of sight? What's the advantage in reducing the tracks?
