I can't imagine something heavy enough to throw off his balance that would fit into a fanny pack. Even a solid brick of lead or gold couldn't throw him off so badly that he landed (almost) squarely on his neck. For all the money he's going to spend in the hospital he could've bought a fucking trampoline. Lesson learned I guess.
