Guess what? No one cares, you're just yet another guy on 4gifs claiming he's the penultimate connoisseur of karate/kungfu/automatic weapons/UFC with yet another opinion gleaned off wikipedia.
Parkour may have intended on being some efficient art form but it evolved into a platform for flamboyant showmanship. Accept it for what it is and quit pretending that you're ignorant enough to believe that the enormous majority of people doing parkour aren't doing it for the attention.

Parkour is about going from A to B in the fastest and safest way possible.
It has never been about stunts. If you're doing backflips off walls and jumping off of high structures, that's acrobatics. You belong in a circus.

Stunts are involved, but only as a means to an end. There should be no unnecessary movements.
bullshit. that's all just a contrived explanation to justify showboating. what's the utility of expending tons of energy to climb a wall when using the stairs would have just taken a few more seconds? there is none, unless you're running from the cops. parkour itself may have as a rule to not do unnecessary movements, but the whole art is unnecessary, therefore showboating.
if the people that did this shit didn't want people to see it and be impressed, then why do I even know about it? why do they post videos of themselves on the internet?
and don't give me any of that "no true scottsman" bullshit.

I agree, but do you there was in this guys jump? looking it over it kind of reminds of flying squirrels when they leap through the air (how he has his arms and legs out wide as if he's almost...

I wasn't aware that it suddenly became about showboating and pointless stunts.

what is the point
of parkour if you're setting up mats?
isn't the idea to traverse an urban landscape with speed and fluidity?
