LMAO so true but you got one thing wrong with nascar. they only have 2 guys to carry the tires and 2 guys to take off and put on the lug nuts. also nascar doesnt have air jacks on the car so they still have to have a jack man. in nascar its the pit crew...

More like 13 seconds for 4 tires and NASCAR also takes fuel during the race, makes adjustments to the cars, and provide the drivers with drinks to help them during the long and hot races. In F1, you get the pole, you are pretty much guaranteed a win. I can't remember the last sprint cup race that someone won from the pole; it just doesn't happen that often.

There are more passes made in one NASCAR race than in entire seasons of F1. I'm from Germany; I loved F1 growing up. I still get up at 2 AM to watch the races live, but NASCAR is far more exciting and strategic. Teams don't share a pit box, like F1, so the strategy is played out per car, not so Button can win. In F1 if a car gets within 12 inches of another, the announcer is throwing a fit, and screaming about how close that was. In NASCAR, close doesn't happen until they are into each other.

Look at it this way: They didn't need to invent DRS to make it watchable, and there is no such thing as a passing zone in Nascar, the whole track is a passing zone.

The fuck? Are those tires held on by only one lugnut?

Yep, but they have multiple guideposts that line them up with the hub

I wanna be the one that smooches the driver on the helmet for good luck.

Yes, F1 cars only have 1 lugnut that is held in place with pins. The socket must release the pin when put over the nut.

Yeah, they only have one lug, but it can be a pain in the ass to get the threads started.
