Flour is very flammable when it's sprayed and mixed with air. There were many explosions in mills in the old times. There was a ban of using fire in mills and close surroundings.

Take a couple of teaspoons of black powder, wrap it tightly with an igniter in craft paper, tape it up, put it in the bottom of a metal bucket, and add a couple of cups of flour on top. Set it off and you will get a very satisfying ball-o-fire type...

Powders are combustible? But flour isn't flammable when it's just sitting on the counter! I was completely ignorant of this possibility. :/
