I dont want to excuse the jackass that decided to swerve right by the guy in front of him, but you really cant afford to be standing away from the car when you're in the middle of the fucking highway. You push it to the shoulder, or at LEAST stand directly behind or in front of it. I'm sure that guy sued, but it was more his fault than anyone's.
